Re: Magic the Gathering tournament
thats right Kris
""Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it must contain exactly fifteen cards.""
im sorry to hear that Oli i think your deck would have gone far but this is the first of meny MTG tournament to be held at GG so there will be a next time

Re: Magic the Gathering tournament
I am looking forward to this. Also, maybe you should be hosting Standard and Extended tournies too, on a regular basis? If so, I think that the Standard tournies should have a higher buy in, for the sole reason than most people WORK to get standard decks and it would get quite popular, resulting in even bigger prizes! Like maybe £4-6 buy-in. with the prize being £X + a booster or a rare or something.

Re: Magic the Gathering tournament
Urgh...M:TG deck construction is retarded ¬¬
Been at it for about an hour now, currently at 68 cards and not happy with the build. Doesn't appear to be drawing as necessary, gotta drop these 8 extra cards.
Sideboard is easy enough to figure out with what I've got to hand.
I'll be heading to KTG prior to showing up at the GG, so I should have a few people in tow with me.

Slivers again then...
Chris, do you still want that ranking software to make the rounds fair?
P.S - Play Swiss! Screw knockout!
